Senior Reinforcing Steel Estimator 

Great Plains Rebar is looking for an experienced Senior Reinforcing Steel Estimator.    The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and feel comfortable estimating a high volume of projects on a monthly basis.    In addition to the experience requirements noted below, the ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of construction plans and specifications, have great attention to detail, and be able to work efficiently with coworkers and customers. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Quantity Take-offs for Reinforcing Steel, Wiremesh, and Accessories as needed
  • Prepare Quotations for Distribution to the Customers

Education/Experience Required:

  • 5 years in Reinforcing Steel or related Construction Industry
  • Competence with aSa Rebar Software System or equivalent software system
  • HS Diploma/Equivalent Required, some College Coursework is preferred

Salary:

  • Commensurate on Experience

CSS/GPR is looking for an experienced Senior Reinforcing Steel Detailer.    The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and feel comfortable detailing projects of various sizes.    In addition to the experience requirements noted below, the ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of construction plans and specifications, have great attention to detail, and be able to work efficiently with coworkers and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Reinforcing Steel Shop Drawings per ACI/CRSI Industry Standards for Reinforcing Steel, Wiremesh, and Accessories as needed
  • Perform Project Management Functions – Project Coordination, Change Order Preparation, etc as required

Education/Experience Required:

  • 5 years in Reinforcing Steel or related Construction Industry
  • Competence with aSa Rebar Software System or equivalent software system
  • HS Diploma/Equivalent Required, some College Coursework is preferred
